This week, the Trump-appointed Supreme Court ruled that it’s not okay for private or public institutions to level the playing field for people of color with affirmative action, but they also ruled that it IS okay for private institutions to discriminate against the LGBTQIA community. The LGBTQ+ community is facing horrific and bigoted attacks in state legislatures all across our country. It's past time we pass the Equality Act and make clear that LGBTQ+ rights are human rights and we won't let hate win.
