@drjohnmeade Further there is no single order of the Septuagint 🤦 The Greek MP scroll follows the order of the proto-MT etc. John, looks like we've got big work to do!

One of my favorite features of this project is that the book order will follow the Hebrew MT rather than LXX. I dare to hope (against longstanding tradition) that other Bible publishers will be willing to do the same.

I’m not a NT scholar, but I’ve just read the introduction to this book and I can already tell it’s gonna be 🔥 — not that I’d expect anything less from my old friend @paulthomasloan!

I ran a linguistics day at a primary school today and got to see little kids playing with syntax and morphology as they made up their own invented languages!

Today I presented at a conference for the first time! I’m not on Twitter much these days, but I couldn’t help but post this milestone. So many of y’all have encouraged me in my biblical languages nerdiness, which led to this super fun moment today!

Excited to be launching Daily Dose of Septuagint next week! I appreciate the gracious invitation by @dailygreek. It will have its own website: dailydoseofseptuagint.com
The daily videos will complement DDG not only in content (Greek OT) but register (slightly more advanced).

Congrats to @JoAnnaMHoyt and the team at DIU. This is a fantastic program and I hope others will take note. We need more language training like this in our seminaries—rigorous and focusing on linguistic analysis.
