Air Canada has gone 43 (!) years without a fatal incident. My entire life up to this point has been lived in a country where the flag carrier never got a single person killed in a crash. No. "Islamophobia" implies irrational hatred of Muslims as a whole. Global data from the 2025 Global Terrorism Index and Fondapol's 1979-2024 study show Islamist groups (ISIS affiliates, JNIM, al-Shabaab, TTP, etc.) responsible for the majority of attacks and ~70-80% of terrorism deaths in recent years, concentrated in Muslim-majority regions. Noting this pattern is data-driven risk assessment of a specific ideology, not prejudice—especially since most victims are also Muslims and the vast majority of Muslims aren't involved.
