A good therapist can make all the difference in the world! I had an amazing one. If I hadn’t I wouldn’t trust ANYONE today. But I’m still very discriminating about who I trust. Usually it’s only after they e proven themselves to me. Forensic psychologist sounds fascinating! I think I missed my calling.

@cmd8495 Oh believe me I get that, I’ve been there, on top of the fact that studying to be a forensic psychologist also clicks on my “blue radar” which can add to it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ therapy has made all the difference

@DavidKa69428571 There’s definitely a difference. My surgeon before surgery was like you’ll recover so easily because women tend to do better. We have higher pain tolerance and our joints are more fluid. And yes we know when to stop lol.

@cmd8495 Your and her situation illustrate the difference between men and women on pain. Women nominally have a higher pain tolerance, but they are smart enough to stop when there is pain. Men, not so much!😆😆

@DavidKa69428571 I know it’s a simple very quick procedure that only takes a few minutes. I’ve had it done before. After my ACL revision I had a lot of scar tissue. It’s not horrible but the thought of that knee being operated on again is not appealing.

@cmd8495 Deb had that happen and they put her under, bent her knee and it hurt for just a few days. She then made great progress on her rehab.
