Had a very, very weird experience while filming this video. There's a guy named Wetmore Hodges - of the Detroit Hodgeseseses - who bankrolled the invention of flash-freezing in 1925. He teamed up with Clarence Birdseye to make General Foods Corp. Right before the Depression hit, Wetmore sold his stake in General Foods for $22m!!!! (About $500m in today's dollars) We went to film at this restaurant in Gloucester where the first General Foods factory was. As it turns out, one of the cinematographers at @corememory is Camen Hodges, the great grandson of Wetmore Hodges. And Camen hit us with this history as we were filming in the flash-freezing birthplace. @satiwick1 @jimseven Thanks for the quick answer @jimseven! @satiwick1 FYI - you can also pour a melted capsule into a glass of cold water, like here. Melted capsules stay fresh for 3 days at room temp, or 1 week refrigerated - we recommend keeping a pack in the fridge for quick iced drinks!

I’m mad at how good @cometeer is.
