@scaling_shields If reality was an order book, thats how it goes. Sellers sometimes sell for below market prices because sometimes they need to quickly liquidate assets. The onus is on the seller and in this day and age it takes 2 sec to look up market prices.

At this point we don't need to make a moralising, save-the-planet argument for personal changes to consumption EVs and solar are now just cheaper to run, less volatile to global supply shocks and so better for national energy security. Helping the planet is a lovely bonus

@EO_Halloran @RayPearson1717 So if we use ice core sampling for legacy temperature then wouldn’t using modern equipment be more sensitive thus making the result off by a factor? If it isn’t off then why use modern sensors at all? I use the chart like that to zoom out and highlight 1 degree is negligible.
