After doing that they pay less import duty because it's all packed inside a single container which means they only clear it once. With all these they still end up selling it at the cost of those who imported it without compromise.

Let me educate your ignorance small because some of you will just wake up and start making noise about something you have zero knowledge on....These shuttle buses and trucks are bought in full over there in Japan... Inorder to have many in a single container you have to pay for them to be cutted.... When they arrive Nigeria you will clear a full container with approximately 10m naira and then pay people to refix it again as a full vehicle.... To import a full container of this buses and trucks you have to budget 65-70m naira... so Mr Everything Cars that knows nothing about car importantion, kindly get your 70m ready and hit Japan...if your container land Nigeria sell yours 500,000.... This is how VeryDarkMan woke up one day went to China and started disturbing the whole social media with noises about crashing prices of cars...I wonder why cars are still expensive....

You guys buy these buses abroad, bring them into Nigeria as parts, then reassemble them here. You're basically clearing one full container, not each vehicle individually. I still don't understand why each unit ends up selling for ₦4m–₦5m.
