@vincenzoeternal @Genki_JPN Yeah, Pokemon is probably the best example, but even look at stuff like Five Nights at Freddy's. That series has been around for 12 years and has like 20 games and two movies so far.

Playing some Resident Evil Requiem this morning. The game is great but I just wish it infused pixels with photoreal lighting and materials, bridging the gap between rendering and reality alas unplayable for now

@HUN2R On one hand, you can understand the sentiment here. The problem in the other is that gamers usually aren't doing what he's describing. It's upsetting as a consumer to watch teams squander talent on obvious failures, and it's worse when those teams choose to ignore good advice.
