If Bitcoin follows past bear markets, fine...let's always be prepared. But I think both are dissimilar to right now. Those bear markets occurred during beginning or middle of QT. Not after QT and the beginning of an economic boom. Yes, I think an economic boom is in play.

I've been waiting months for this. PMI just printed 52.7...EXPANSION. During a Middle East war. With oil soaring. It appears the economy is stronger than people think. All while today, Truflation just dropped to 1.26%. Deflationary trends are the opposite of what the headlines are saying. Here's what I know. Every single crypto bull market has happened during PMI expansion. We're getting expansion right now while crypto sits at bear market lows. US unemployment duration is surging at an alarming rate: The average duration of unemployment in the US jumped +2 weeks in February, to 25.7 weeks, a 4-year high. Unemployment duration has risen +6.3 weeks since October 2023, the fastest pace since 2020-2021. This is now well above 2018-2019 pre-pandemic levels. At the same time, the median duration of unemployment is up to 11.1 weeks, the 2nd-highest since December 2021. Both metrics are trending consistently higher, a pattern previously seen at the onset of past recessions. It is taking Americans significantly longer to find work after losing their jobs.

The truth is that whether you bought BTC or Gold in late 2017, your return is about the same today. But I guess it's more fun for both sides to just throw shade back and forth
