@RacingMikey96 I’d love to see some research conducted to establish whether the use of the whip in finishes has much effect on horses effort. Most will give their all for vigorous riding imo.

So I’ve backed Jazzy Matty 9/1, Fruit De Mer 33/1 and Ballyburn 8/1 and been beaten by 3 jockeys all who have used their whip twice over the permitted level and all been suspended for days. Beaten a nose, 1 1/2l, and 1 1/4l 😂
Feel a little hard done by I’m not going to lie 🤦🏻♂️

It’s a been brilliant week as always but it’s heartbreaking to say that Envoi Allen has passed away.
He collapsed on the way back in from his final run.
He was a fantastic racehorse who was a friend to thousands over the past 6 or so seasons.
That’s very sad.

@tony_calvin Personally, I followed both Skelton winners in. Part of the repertoire of knowledge you gather over the years is recognising horses being targeted at specific races. Of course, it very often ends in tears.

Genuinely interested to see how the winning handicap gambles are received by punters on here, as it doesn't seem to bother those in print/TV. Punters may well love them, too. May put up a couple of polls if any appetite in finding out. If I do, please help them along with RTs.
