Denver International Airport recorded a high temperature of 70 degrees this afternoon, which is a new record high for the day. This breaks the previous record of 69F which was set in 2005. #cowx

Record High Temp today: 71F (old record 70F in 1955). This makes the third record high temperature broken for Denver this month. The record high for Christmas Day is 69F (last set in 2005). With tomorrow's forecast high of 69F, we could see another record being tied or broken.

High temperature so far today in Denver is 76F (old record 70F). This is the second warmest Dec temperature on record for Denver. Warmest Dec temperature is 79F set on Dec 5th, 1939. With temps of 73-79F in the Denver area, we could add a few more degrees to today's high. #cowx

Another impressive list of high wind reports along the Front Range today. Peak gust of 112 mph recorded at the NCAR Mesa Lab, 102 near Niwot, and numerous other reports >80 mph. Humidity at same time was 8-14%! #COwx

It looks as though the🔥Heat Miser🔥has taken over the latest outlook for Christmas week (Dec 23-29)! We are looking at a high probability of warmer-than-normal temperatures for the vast majority of the U.S., with the Plains and South likely trading the Snowman for a Sunburn! The Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and New England have a much better chance of seeing the "classic" Christmas weather you remember as a kid.
