@Darksilvania i remember seeing about this myth in a book from my childhood and i had the biggest flashback the moment i saw this it's really well done

They are based on the Penanggalan from Malay ghost myths and the Manananggal from Filipino folklore, both are vampiric female spirits who detach from their bodies to fly at night, one detaching her head and organs, the other her whole upper body, growing wings
