Before the data disaggregation bill was signed into law by @GovKathyHochul in December 2021, Asian Americans and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders in New York weren’t being counted properly — which means our communities were losing out on critical resources during the pandemic.

When @GovKathyHochul signed the New York State data disaggregation bill into law it was the culmination of over a decade of advocacy. We’d like to take some time this afternoon to go through why this new law matters. #InvisibleNoMore
