try as i may, i can't seem to define myself on this platform. i've said that one of my favorite jackets is a repro of something andy warhol wore to china (video 1). one of my favorite brands is kapital, a japanese label known for making ridiculous garments like this (pic 2). i like little-known tailors in far-flung places (pic 3). the only outfit i don't like is a golf polo with slim chinos, dress sneaker, and expensive sport watches (pic 4). i detest respectability in dress and don't think you can read a person's deeper, more important qualities based on their appearance, including their attire. despite being labeled "the menswear guy," i'm not really the kind of account that helps you dress for success or to find love. im a guy who lives alone with a cat, feeds raccoons at night, and spends all my time thinking about clothes. you're basically following someone with mild mental illness. recommending utility vests for fall isn't just up my ally, it's prob the most "normal" thing i've suggested. the other option is to dress insane or fly to florence, italy to meet up with a 82 year old tailor.
