skills are just short well written docs. we’re just renaming the “how to guides” of developer docs that actually show you how to use the API/library
Christoph Nakazawa@cnakazawa
I really don't get the hype about skills. They are just docs. Just write docs and ship them inside your packages.

Today is a hard day. I shared this note with the @linear team today: We’ve made the difficult decision to increase our workforce. This is not a cost-cutting exercise or a reflection of anyone’s performance. We’re simply reimagining every role for the agentic AI era. We’re hiring. We’re sorry about that.

@kayleecodez hate to say it, but everyone that rejects kubernetes inevitably ends up recreating it from first principles lol

@paulgb i’m still having trouble steel manning this! on machines that i install my cli, i can bring along a skills.md / or ask the user to install the skills somehow
it’s a feels like a very similar action to registering an mcp sever

@d_j_stein Tool discovery, mainly. I can add a set of tools by adding a URL instead of having to copy/maintain a skills.md file for it.

williamsburg is bad because it's an sf enclave in nyc
unless you're a tech PM who loves rock climbing just live somewhere else

this is why nobody should move to new york in 2026. you are not going to have a wholesome chungus 2010s hipster loft bodega warehouse party experience. no, you are going to drink coffee from starbucks and buy groceries from whole foods in between either selling or buying b2b SAAS

My official top 3 NYC pancake rankings:
1. Golden Diner - tbh it’s not close these guys are Usain Bolt in the pancake game, they’re looking back rn
2. Lords - they have a sticky toffee pudding pancake that’s kinda similar to Golden Diner actually, lords have mercy (kinda funny)
3. Salt’s Cure - very different style thin crispy oat pancakes and they don’t let you add syrup which is kinda whack but they’re still fire
The grounds for debate are now open 📢

light roast coffee in nyc is basically waffle house tier compared to a basic pour over in hong kong / hcm / bkk
noone@justsmbdyithink
One thing nyc does not have is great coffee
English

@LilAioli sigh. as a coffee snob we don’t. we are leagues behind the average high end coffee in hong kong
