A carbon-based life form who favours a progressive society. Progressives want progress, conservatives don't.

Later this month King Charles will visit Washington, stand alongside Donald Trump and pretend that everything is normal and that this social media post never happened. That is how captive Britain has become to a special relationship that has long been a servile relationship.

@minnamyself Policies read like passion projects. No costings, no analysis of ramifications on all sectors that would be affected. They are joke statement to hook in people not educated in how government actually works.

One Nation is gearing up to take the fight to Farrer and Victoria next. Pauline Hanson is building momentum, replicating the strong grassroots campaign that delivered real results in South Australia — and now expanding that strategy across the country. The mission is clear: protect Australia, stand up for its people, and preserve the values and culture that define our nation. Big moves ahead.

@MikeCarlton01 No way. But the message does not overlap well with religious beliefs in Australia.

@kevinbonham Yet the MSM prattle on endlessly about PHON, while an opposition in denial talks of preference swaps which will hasten their demise. Truly ponderous.

With all Assembly results known, the Malinauskas Government has won 72.3% of seats, compared to 57.4% in 2022. I have this as the largest election to election gain by a government that won both elections and was in power federally when defending, in any state, ever. #savotes

@deemadigan @Dazzaat Human error. Someone probably punched in wrong end date for daylight saving in NSW. Normally last Sunday in March, but has skipped to Easter this year and set for Sunday, April 5. Mistake has been detected & fixed leaving same departure time, but different arrival time. GI.GO.

@timritchie Burial ground was co-located with a hospital, orphanage and school, all cleared for Central. The hospital’s pharmacy survived and stands on the corner of Lee St & Regent St. Mortuary Station, which predated Central, was also spared. The school, St Scholastica’s, moved to Glebe

It feels not only wet but cold this morning. So it wasn’t the rumble of the tram, but rather my poor attire choice giving me shivers. At the far end of Devonshire Street was an early 19C colonial burial ground, now the site of Sydney’s Central Station.

@SandraEckersley Not true. Pretty sure One Notion has pulled in more tax-payers money, by way of reimbursements for votes and from a kick in Poorlean's salary which went up when Barnaby joined -- the extra member gave PHON minor-party status, so the leader's pay goes up. Follow the money.

David Pocock has achieved more as a single Independent MP in four years than Pauline Hanson and her entire circus of expensive clowns have achieved in 20 years. #auspol

In my feed I see people who believe our government is in a plot with the UN, that we are in danger from brown people, that uncosted ideological rants are good policy, that research is based at looking at tictok accounts they agree with. I’ve nearly had enough.

In 2018 Josh Frydenberg and Mathias Cormann came up with a massively flawed GST plan which advantaged WA by billions, while selling the other states and territories short. Effective tax reform in Australia has to include redistribution of the GST. theage.com.au/politics/feder…
