I need to step up my bookmarking game. It’s a mess of me emailing myself links to tweets/threads and bookmarks in safari and the iOS-read-list-thingy. But I also want to ditch Pinterest that I (used to) have for design inspiration. Any nifty apps that syncs between devices and Mac’s?

My experience: Got the standard welcome from "My Mind" and the personal welcome from you Tobias. Two welcomes in a day is perhaps too much, I think one of them is enough, but people are different and might think it's nice. Then I got a new email every day. After day 4 I thought that this looks like a daily thing and I really don't need the noise – so I unsubscribed. Otherwise liking the service so far though!

Hey Richard and Daniel Jumping in here since I work on mymind. Big sorry about this, I'm actually gonna start working on refining this today. To be fully transparent with you: Right now there is basically an email onboarding sequence, you get that after you signed up, periodically. Then we have our SUNDAY email, which people really love. And then, occassionally we're sending an update email with new features etc. Now looking at this, I think some of the dates are wrong because that does look like too many emails. Especially if you are a NEW member, things are getting clustered a little bit too much. I will work on getting this all fixed this week, space them out more etc. — Many of them are still delivering value and we don't send anything unworthy, but I think the clustering is too much. After all, we want it to be helpful. Thank you for the feedback, that screenshot was very important to see!

@vanschneider Hi Tobias! I'm in, I added the safari extension and have the desktop app and the iOS. I am in the process of saving content, too early to say anything else other than that the process of starting to save content has been pretty frictionless.

@dafeld Hey Daniel! Would love to tell you more about mymind, from what you're saying it would be the absolutely perfect solution for you. Are you back into it? Did you watch some of our intro videos on it to get a quick overview?

Liking it so far but I guess I'll see when there's actually a lot of content in it. Although had to unsubscribe to the zillions of emails they start sending out as soon as you have an account.

@dafeld For bookmarks across devices, I'm happy with @raindrop_io and for my own kind of feed of inspiration, I jumped on the @mymind train and currently explore this workflow - happy atm.

@_radermacher Thanks Richard! ❤️ I’d catogrize it just as you said, retro tech sci-fi. I’m not great at genres e t c. ;) There’s an aesthetic called ”cassette futurism” - but I guess that’s more a blend of retro, steampunk futurism. I just love old gadgets and video games.

Today I discovered tapotron.com by @dafeld - and, I love this brand he creates. In general I love this retro tech, scifi look. How should I call this style? Also check out his portfolio greatscott.se
