Great time at #ALDALLY once again this year! One idea that really stuck with me: who defines success? We need to become more comfortable introducing and truly accepting patient-determined outcomes, rather than relying solely on metrics and statistics to deliver the best care.

Critiquing a paper while teaching / tweeting 1. No study is perfect. That’s ok 2. “Confounding” & “underpowered” are not sufficient as criticisms. They are followed by “because …” with explanation 3. ‘Retrospective’ isnt a crime and ‘prospective’ doesn’t get u out of jail free
