Student-athletes often struggle to build muscle, increase strength, and recover effectively not because they lack effort, but because they lack clarity around what to eat, how much to eat, and when to eat. My Elite Athlete Program removes the guesswork providing a clear, structured plan that fuels performance, supports recovery, and helps athletes get stronger with confidence through guided video recordings, expert presentations, and step-by-step nutrition strategies they can actually follow. nutritionwithwendi.com/membership/

With two strikes, everyone tends to focus on the wrong problem. Their answer: Two strike approach Two strike approach Two strike approach Then wonder why the K's don't go down. Here's what nobody asks: Why are you getting to two strikes in the first place? Ask better questions. Get better answers. Get better results. Save this for when you need it. Send this to someone who needs this.

🚨 Attention Parents of Teen Athletes 🚨 If your son is between 15–18 years old, stands 5’9” to 6’2”, and weighs only 130–145 lbs, he is likely underweight for his frame especially if he’s an athlete. ⚠️ Under-fueling during puberty can lead to: • Poor muscle development • Increased risk of injury • Hormonal disruption • Delayed growth and maturity If you want to help your athlete gain lean muscle, build strength, and thrive on and off the field nutrition must be a top priority. ✅ Start here: • 3–4 balanced meals daily (with high-quality protein, carbs, and healthy fats) • 2+ performance snacks around practices, lifts, or games • 7–10 hours of sleep nightly • Plenty of fluids (not energy drinks) • Recovery time + less screen time before bed 🍕🍭 Energy drinks, candy, chips, and pizza are not fuel. They’re fine occasionally but not daily, and not if performance and health are the goal. Set regular meals and snacks like you would practices and games. Your child’s development depends on it. nutritionwithwendi.com/blog/fueling-t…

You know the saying.. "Hitters need reminded more than they need to be taught"? It's right. But I got something better.. "Hitters need reassurance that they're really good instead of always thinking something is broken."

While sad that this season is ending I am also excited about the next chapter for these seniors and for the future of this program. Let’s go Sparta.

Seldomly post but wanted to express how proud I am of @MaxLorio_2028 and his accomplishments this season with Campbell High Baseball. Amazing to watch him grow through ups and downs while adjusting to high school. Loved watching him play and become part of a team.

🏈I'm offering a 3 month group football nutrition coaching program for the HS football athlete. I personally am leading this group and it is the best solution to those who have reached out and said "we want to work with you and won't accept another RD." In order for me to work with your son you will need to be willing to have him in a group with other 15-18 YO football players that way I can coach and educate weekly as a group. We will cover: -meals -snacks -what to eat before and after training as well as games -supplements -weight gain -fat loss -recovery It's honestly a better way for me to help your son. 1:1 coaching is something my team offers but with my limited availability I personally don't have capacity for 1:1. If you want our help, you can absolutely get Coached by one of our other dietitians. But if you want my specific help and want me to lead your son, this is the solution and I'm offering this group one time only. Limited spots and once the group fills it's closed. It will be held on Monday nights starting in April. I won't accept athletes who aren't willing to be coachable or make changes. Over the years I've learned that parents often want it more than their kids. So I will be pre screening any athlete to see if they are in a willingness and ability to make changes. I never want to take anyone's money, waste my time or yours if you're not willing to show up and put in the work. I've coached thousands of athletes over the years and I can't help you if you won't accept help. One time fee for enrollment. 🔗Apply here: nutritionwithwendi.com/contact/

@Challenger_ST As with anything consistency over time is the magic. That said as a parent, a model that teaches an athlete to fish would be outstanding. Programs, lesson, etc that require subscriptions in perpetuity are not sustainable.

Seriously considering instituting some kind of “6 month minimum,” with new athletes/parents People out there really think you do strength training for 2-3 months, leave & keep your gains forever Lucky to have about 80% who know, but would love a gym 100% full of those like that

Shawn Clark has some serious decisions to make with his #AppState coaching staff either during or after the season. The talent is there, the preparation, execution and discipline is not
