@AdamJoseph Based on your argument, Nigel Martyn is the 3rd best PL goalkeeper OAT. De Gea was great in his prime but his last few years at United he was a calamity at the time. On prime he’s one of the best 100%. All-time goes off their whole PL careers so I think 4th is fair

David de Gea is perennially disrespected in the current day. He was as important to Manchester United then as Bruno Fernandes is now & was the best GK in the world for an extended period. People now forget that. He was the goalkeeper in the PL TOTS 5x, Edwin van der Sar & Nigel Martyn are next closest with 3x, van der Sar anchored the best defence in PL history over one of the most dominant periods any club has ever had. His excellence spanned a decade. Courtois is on this list because of his brilliance at Real Madrid, not his Chelsea career. David Seaman should be much higher, he was an elite GK for years. The list is lunacy, it has no rationale.. so very Carragher.
