Since day one, we’ve been obsessed with one goal: to elevate the future of the accounting industry. For over a decade ago, I worked as an accountant at @Deloitte, @PwC , and @CroweUSA. I’ve lived the long hours, and inefficiencies first hand. This lived experience became the foundation for Abacor.

You play such an important role in elevating the financial health of your clients. For almost a decade, I was a tax accountant at PwC, and Crowe. I remember every busy season. Every tax return. The 2am finishes. The feeling that no matter how hard you worked, the pile never got smaller. That's exactly why we built @useabacor. It's why we exist. We’re barely scratching the surface on how AI can transform accounting firms. It’s an exciting time to be in the industry.

Something that previously took me 45 minutes for every client meeting as an accountant is about to take < 5 minutes. Very excited to launch this exciting new feature soon to all the accounting firms we serve.

Last week, @useabacor got IT approval from a top 20 accounting firm. Since day one, we’ve focused on security and compliance. It’s an exciting milestone. We can’t wait to serve more accountants around the world.

@CPATaxTeam Would love to learn more about the form! We’re launching a new feature that will auto-fill this form based on the discovery call.

We have a good intake form that we use for prospective clients. I just used Claude to create an even better one and make it fillable and relevant to a specific client's situation based on our Discovery call. Claude updated it and reformatted it in 5 seconds. Saved me an hour.

Bias for action could not be more true. Just keep going and pushing. It’s the only way.

@parkerjlathrop Couldn’t agree more! What do you think will be the key responsibilities of an accountant in 5 - 10 years?

I'm not sure who needs to hear this, but accountants and tax professionals aren't going away, even as AI advances. I just received an email asking if I could review a tax return prepared on TurboTax. It's a nice thought, but I don't see many tax pros accepting these types of engagements.

@LoganGrafTax Very cool @LoganGrafTax! Do you set yourself an hourly charge out rate or you don't track this? For example: You can say I spent $500 of my time on AI this week.

Last week was my busiest week of tax season at 52 hours. 9 of those hours were spent creating content and not working on the firm. I was busier meeting content deadlines than tax return deadlines! Manager + tax return scheduling system has been a game changer for firm operations.

Can't wait to be back in SF and Palo Alto next month! I'll be spending a lot more time there over the next few months. I've missed the builder and startup energy. We will be hosting many events through @hellotech2table and @useabacor.

It’s fascinating how powerful a simple wedge that solves a real problem can be. You don’t need to build a whole platform and OS on day one. Land by solving a sharp problem then expand. It’s all about getting into the door and quickly developing customer love.

We’ve given in-person demos every day so far this month. It’s been super energizing and the vision is resonating with accountants. I could not be more excited for the future of accounting firms.

We use officially Gemini at @Basis365. It’s a solid choice that no one ever seems to talk about it. This how I set it up for technical accounting research. I also have paid subscriptions to Clause and ChatGPT (rarely used now). Claude is fast becoming my favorite.

This is why @useabacor exists. We’re focused on elevating the accountant and client experience. Making it more human and less transactional. Relationships matter, especially the one with your most trusted advisor, your accountant.

It's super important to reflect and think about why you started in the first place and how you felt when you decided to go all in. It makes everything worth it.
