Breaking news: @will_anderson28 confirms his interest in joining the @HoustonTexans by grinning when approached and told by crazed xans fan he would look good in a Texans jersey.

Man I love Kamari. I am so glad he’s a Texan.

“CJ’s my guy. #1. In standing behind him right or wrong, whether he had a good game or a bad game. That’s for other people to speculate. If you wanna point fingers, point fingers at me. I gave up a catch. I got targeted 7 times, no takeaways.” -Kamari Lassiter 🎥 @AaronWilson_NFL

Feel like the press conferences today from CJ and Demeco were pretty well done. Ending of the season sucks but you can see the pain there and we’ll see how it fuels both CJ’s offseason and Demeco’s tough decisions the next couple of weeks

As upset as I was during and after the game, and as much as I question if CJ can be "Him", I do Respect the hell out of him knowing and understanding the impact this has on fans, etc. He's a good kid, I really hope they find the magic, improve his line, and he succeeds. @HoustonTexans

@ybgoat777 Absolutely. He knows better than to give them anything. Just a little too smiley right then for me but now the real decisions are starting to be made by him in terms of his staff but will be interesting to see

@luckynumberF @prestonbeavers8 Agreed 100p. It is more towards referees/situations than players where I wish he would get fired up, I understand he’s being mature here and he doesn’t need to talk about hard decisions to the media an hour after the game. The clock/game management will get better with games too

@dburr___ @prestonbeavers8 Cant have much more fire than him i believe. He just a smart man in control of his emotions here. He will make the right moves and say the words that are needed. That's what an incredible leader looks like. Besides the game management issues sometimes, hes been a very good HC imo

Jordan dude you gotta have more perspective on this. None of those guys had the team around him that CJ does. It’s just wrong to put them in the same category. No one is asking CJ to go out and win games, just not to lose them.
Jordan Pun@Texans_Thoughts

Maybe I’ll regret this next year but you can’t look at how Darnold, Baker, Goff even, have come back from very low lows and give up on Stroud I know I’m in the minority but the talent is there. Needs to get the mental and his supporting cast right

@prestonbeavers8 I like demeco and want demeco, he’s learning it on the run, but he’s got to have some more fire in him sometimes towards these guys. The cool demeanor is a positive overall but I’d like to see a lot more intensity in the right spots

@dburr___ I refuse to believe Demeco is the problem. Let’s get healthy, pay the defense, win our division and get home field next year.

Nick Caley should be the OC next season. Upgrading the run game & trench play is a clear goal while I’d say it was better in 2025 than 24 there is still room for growth. They need more from the offense but the talent currently just isn’t there if the QB isn’t going to play at a level that he has previously.

Would you trade CJ, a first, and a second for Joe Burrow?

The Texans defense is scary. You know how trill you gotta be to run the most basic defense in the NFL where you show your shell the whole stadium knows what you in and you still can’t stop it. That shit keeps offenses up at night.
