Today we were glad to host 2 reps of the @NewJerseyDOE, who came to get an up-close look at some of the great things going on in Linden. They met and chatted with students and teachers during tours of @LindenSchoolOne and @Sch8_IsGr8 with @LPSSupt and other administrators.

Know what takes real courage? Assembling your entire administrative team to examine and reflect upon the role of courage in school and district leadership. Kudos to Linden for having the guts to talk about their truth and engage in the hard conversations.

We asked all our students to write down the name of an adult in the school that they trusted... an adult they could talk to if they needed someone. 38 kids did not have one. We talked about this as a faculty today. This is NOT ok. EVERY kid needs to feel connected!
