I feel so bad for David Corenswet. I’m willing to bet he knew how dumb it was for his character to spend valuable time asking around everyone “are you okay sweetheart, I’m your symbol of hope, be kind” when a skyscraper tall monster was on the loose. But then he must have seen James one trick pony Gunn doesn’t quite plan on moving that Kaiju much, which is even dumber. And he performed anyway. I hated the interpretation of Superman and the way he was written. But not David, the actor. If anything I would count him as a good professional because he put up with that much nonsense and still delivered what the director demanded from him.
