Republican candidates have been less vocal about the Texas ban, which is unpopular even w/Republicans in Texas. PA is a more moderate state.
“Most sensible Republicans recognize to take a [Texas Gov. Greg] Abbott-like stance would be political demise,” said strategist David Dix.
