Multiple sources from Meta have denied any relationship between Monday's outage and the click attribution changes as I suggested.
I don't 100% trust those sources know what happened and I doubt they'd be permitted to confirm it if it were true, but I wanted to give that update

Last night's Meta outage was prob caused by Meta rolling out the new click-through attribution changes... They're due to roll it out starting this week. I wonder if they had to roll it back, and they'll still need to roll it out over the coming days. This will be a significant change for some accounts and will be a massive shift overall for Meta's entire algo. I'd expect more bumps in the days to come... Buckle up!
