Bounce scenario.
From contrarian standpoint, current extreme fear (denial) can theoretically lead into a $100k+ bounce.
The problem is we're in confirmed bear market. So every bounce is more likely to fail and dip even lower.
Not seeing much demand.
I'm hopeful but skeptical.

As much as I want this cycle to go up, I must be honest with my views. I believe we've already topped for BTC, and we will gradually go down from this point on (~110k). My advice is for you to look for shorts rather than longs for the next 6 months at least. 🤝 $eth $avax

Sharing some of the interesting R&D work we are doing at NEAR: SeParatIon of Consensus and Execution (SPICE).
While similar ideas have been implemented in other blockchains before, doing it in a fully sharded blockchain is significantly more challenging but brings a myriad of benefits:
- Super fast blocks (as low as 200ms)
- No more chunk miss
- Improved throughput by minimizing idle time
- More relaxed chunk gas limits and larger txs
- Prepare the protocol to adopt zk proofs
We’ve done some testing with an initial MVP and it worked well in the testing network. We expect the development work to continue for the next several months. This will unlock the next phase of NEAR’s scalability while allowing more flexibility for new features like long-running transactions and synchronous transactions.
