@EuropeanBob7 It wasn’t going well clearly but what he produced under Tuchel was undoubtedly world class and ultimately, the club should have offered him more. I’d absolutely have him back (not that it would make too much difference).
English

@burnsieboy65 It’s a vicious cycle because the managers that go in there substitute their integrity from day one and only rediscover it when they want to leave.
English

@Jaycen_solo If you think the players would have signed without that bonus for Graham, water is dry.
English

@dmacook Again how did it benefit us (as in Arsenal football club). He pocketed £500k and signed two crap players. When there was a cap on foreign players from UEFA.
I would argue it hurt the club more than it helped them.
English

@Jaycen_solo I think the moral arbiters of football should recognise when dodgy activities have benefitted them.
English

@dmacook Was Arsenal aware of any payments from the agent to Graham?
How would Arsenal know what it is happening with Graham’s private bank account?
English

@Jaycen_solo Those were the terms of a deal to get two players to sign for Arsenal. That is of benefit to Arsenal. But it’s almost as though Arsenal had connections or something…

English

@dmacook Why? Did it go through the Arsenal accounts? No, was it the club owners that did it? No
Was the payment made to Arsenal ? No
So why would the club be charged with anything?
English

@dmacook Sorry are you trying to compare a £500k bung against a £47.5m off the book payments as the same 😂.
Arsenal was never charged. Only Graham was.
English

@dmacook He signed the players in 1992. So after those titles 🤦♂️.
English

Did he now? 👀😄

I’ve rarely seen us concede a goal where barely any one of our players does anything to stop it.

Thursday: The @NotAProjectCFC blog is published.
Friday: The Athletic exclusively reveals RJ’s contract, a few hours before it’s announced.
The weekend: The Athletic’s @David_Ornstein tells NBC “whether fans like it or not patience will be required”
THIS is how it works.
English

@dmacook The first two points I agree with completely. I don't agree with Ornstein's remark.
If you are a fan of the club, but opposed to the regime, you protest against the owners - not the players or manager. Get behind them and things will change on the pitch.
English

This is no longer just using media to pedal PR. It’s also about attacking dissenting fans. This is the contempt the owners treats the fanbase with.
But for every action, there is a reaction. The more we see the army of media minions attacking us, the more we will fight back.

Olivia Buzaglo: “Chelsea fans have no option but to back the manager.” Kaveh Solhekol: “The problem they have is that some Chelsea supporters are used to instant success” David Ornstein: “Some patience whether the fans like it or not will be required” See a pattern?
