Not this dumb bullshit again. Enron Wind's (Bought by GE for pennies on the dollar) 1.5MW turbine is the most successful and widely installed wind turbine in CONUS. It's almost like the embezzlement was corp espionage or something, I wouldn't think about it too hard

@calvinfroedge Combo of a few things - These decisions were made months ago - Insurance premiums are skyrocketing, if you can even get underwritten - They're hedging to lock in prices like they always do when shit goes sideways - T1 shale is running out (maybe 4yrs at current rates)

An exploding railgun for 100 km/s velocity: osti.gov/servlets/purl/… A railgun and explosive flux generator can be merged into one device, by having the rails squeezed together by explosive force and the projectile riding ahead of the detonation wave. Single-use, of course.
