@seftonhanley @glove @Ledger @Apple Millions of fake and malicious apps are submitted to the apple store every year so even if Apples internal review process blocks 99,9% a ton of malicious apps will still get through and get listed on the apple store.

@glove @Ledger @Apple How did it get in the apple store. I thought one of the main points of iOS was the walled garden and vetted apps.

I had a really tough day today I lost my retirement fund in a hack/Scam when I switched my @Ledger over to my new computer and by accident downloaded a malicious ledger app from the @Apple store. All my BTC gone in an instant.

The Smarter Web Company is now the 27 largest public company holding Bitcoin on the balance sheet globally, according to @BTCtreasuries. This move up was caused by a company previously holding more Bitcoin moving down (and IMO you should never sell your Bitcoin). Today we also announced a transaction which I am immensely proud of - effectively acquiring Bitcoin (per share) at $49,000. Looking forward to pushing further up the leader board. LSE: #SWC | OTCQB: $TSWCF | FRA: $3M8

The Philippines is a fantastic example of how deep and fast the drop in fertility is nearly everywhere on the planet. Just last week, on March 30, 2026, the Philippine Statistics Authority released the 2025 National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS). The total fertility rate for the last three years has reached 1.7 children per woman, a dramatic fall from 4.1 in 1993, and well below the replacement rate (around 2.1 for a country like the Philippines). Since the NDHS computes the total fertility rate over three years, and it is dropping quickly, the total fertility rate for 2025 alone should be around 1.6, the same level as in the U.S. Let me repeat this: the Philippines and the U.S. have roughly the same total fertility rate. But U.S. income per capita is about 7.3 times the Philippine income per capita (when adjusted for purchasing power parity). Or to put it differently, Philippine income per capita today is the same as the U.S. had in 1910. In that year, the total fertility rate of the U.S. was around 3.5. At the same level of income per capita, the Philippines has a total fertility rate that is less than half. In some more urban regions, such as Calabarzon, the total fertility rate is 1.3. Historically, the rest of the country has followed the patterns of regions like Calabarzon with some lag, so the most likely scenario is that in a few years, the Philippines will have a total fertility rate of around 1.3 as well. Compared with the United Nations World Population Prospects (WPP), the Philippines is now at the fertility level the WPP had forecast for 2047, despite the aggressive reduction it made to the Philippines’ forecast fertility between 2022 and 2024. The Philippines is interesting because, compared with other Asian countries, it is a relatively religious and rural country without the Confucian obsession with education found in China or South Korea. It is also a country that many still associate with high fertility. Just yesterday, one reader left a comment on my previous post on fertility, using the Philippines as an example of high fertility, that “refuted” my claims. No, it does not. Finally, three technical points. First, I am reporting total fertility, not completed fertility (and yes, I am keenly aware of the difference between the two). Looking at age-specific fertility rates suggests that completed fertility for younger women will actually be below the current total fertility rate. Second, no, emigration does not matter here. I am talking about fertility rates, not birth rates. Third, the official release: psa.gov.ph/content/fertil…

@zaidlikesmstr Doesn’t it say $72M was raised from MSTR? I’m bad at accounting, so I’m probably missing something.

$MSTR I’m a bit surprised this morning by how many analysts around Strategy clearly misread the 8K filing. It’s surprising because it completely understates how significant the raise from $STRC was in funding 100% of the Bitcoin acquired over the past week. If you actually read the 8K, it’s evident that all $329.9 million that Strategy raised to buy btc came from $STRC. Incredible.

Nice wall of projection. Saylor is the one trying to dictate, pressure, and prevent people from using it except in the way he wants. He is the one demanding nothing be done to allow it's use as money to improve. He is the one demanding it be constained to a single use or facet. Hope his dick at least tastes good.

“Hey guys, I’ve tried and failed to get people to use Bitcoin as currency for 17 years. Nobody actually wants to use it as currency because paying with a rapidly appreciating, volatile asset is actually far worse than the status quo. Incomprehensibly, the vast majority of people on Earth have been unwilling to trade massive daily inconvenience for the abstract concept of censorship-resistant money that provides them with zero immediate utility. Don’t they get it? Don’t they get that they can custody their life savings by buying a hardware wallet - or better yet, downloading open-source plans and building their own? Don’t they get that with only a Raspberry Pi and 45 hours a week of liquidity management and a modest amount of risk, they can open their own Lightning channels with one of 14 other people who send sats to each other? Isn’t that so much better than just buying $IBIT or $MSTR in a brokerage account with one click and continuing to spend money on a fraud-protected, interest-subsidized credit card? Haven’t they put in their 1000 hours of learning to learn why with only 100 hours of set up and 10 hours per week of maintenance, they too can be a sovereign individual who lives *off the grid* and *under the radar* while also appearing regularly on public podcasts? Fucking losers. Don’t they listen to my podcast where I interview 1 of 15 other podcasters who share my niche views and on whose podcasts I appear once every 14 episodes where we beat the same tired narrative to death and sometimes venture slightly outside our comfort zone to talk about how Bitcoin means quantum physics doesn’t work? Sure, Bitcoin is really good at being capital, and shorting constantly debasing fiat debt into that capital is profitable. But that’s not the use case I want it to have. Don’t you get that I have a sunk cost of almost two decades trying to get people to see it the way I see it?! Bitcoin is freedom money!!! That means you have to use it the way I say you have to use it. You’re not allowed to use it as capital to undergird credit issuance. We cover this and more on my next podcast. Please tune in and join the resistance.”

@FattyNatsu Yea living in CM or Chiang Rai sounds nice but 2 months a year you have to escape down south to Phuket or Koh Samui or something or stay indoors all day lol. It's unfortunate because the north of Thailand is very nice to life.

STRC chugging along today scooping up Bitcoin at a discount. This is a pace of 88,704 Bitcoin per year BTW. Not including the two hours remaining in the trading day. Not including MSTR issuance required to supplement this. Probably nothing!

After almost 3 months in Thailand, I have this uneasy feeling… I don’t want to leave 😭 I spent too much time in Vietnam, and yes, it’s great too, but Thailand has a totally different vibe that I’ve been missing. Fock it, I’ll enjoy the rest of the time to the max!

Would you ride a motorbike in the UK without a licence and no helmet? Points, serious fines, bike seized. Do it in Thailand and it’s 1000–2000 baht and you ride away… …and foreigners still act like victims when they get fined.
