I think as we once used to trade on EVM purely from ‘21-23, and got used to Solana being the premier degenerate chain for on-chain.. we got used to how things worked around the coins. Suddenly when “a move back to EVM” gets brought up again, the first thought is: oh no, here we go again. The truth is the reason why ETH mainnet has not had staying power (up until now) via interest is because it’s quite outdated and there is little to none appetite nor speculation there to suffice the participants. Until now. Robinhood has shown their hand, quite effectively at that. Along with other chains / founders defending FUD, bull posting as “KOLs,” and even reassuring their mission for this new journey. Yes, there are many chain attempts out there, but if you consider the growth and mindshare control its had (only been nearly a week after Robinhood OFFICIALLY claiming via announcement btw — yes you could have bought the coins a few weeks early like pre-Base mode during Toshi/Leetswap DEX days if you are a ball knower). It’s truly okay if you are not a believer in it yet, but I do hope one day you’ll see the bigger picture they’re trying to achieve and join us on the winning side. Don’t be a 1 chain maxi and miss out on all the fun, unless you hate money then stay put. See you on-chain 🫡
