@YeenEnjoyer Some people i know are just like ignore how bad the artist and just indulge on their artworks. I'm not going to.

People have way more energy to defend artists/makers in any given situation than they do to defend customers if the artist/maker is in the wrong. People have a real “fuck you, got mine” attitude problem.

This fandom has a tendency to default to dickriding for the artist/maker in any given situation even if they’re objectively in the wrong. It’s like a total inversion of “the customer is always right” (they’re not, but the polar opposite mentality is no better).

@John_Vithor True. Some people get easily tired of a character once they find something new. Thats why i never follow any bandwagon.

You can always draw fanart and trendy stuff, of course, but the audience you get from it rarely stays, unless you keep drawing the exact same thing that made them follow you in the first place. I personally always hated this approach and insisted on my OCs until people liked them

I think most big artists say stuff like this because thats literally what they did? lmao Speaking from experience, I started posting stuff online in 2011 and my audience only started to truly grow in 2019 I think? These things take time and won't always happen the way you expect
