The only UK paper to have the funerals of 160 Iranian schoolgirls on its front page this morning is the Metro freesheet.
Quite simply, had they been Israeli schoolgirls the coverage would have been immense.
You can lie to yourself and say it's not true – but we all know it is.

It is becoming clear that our state broadcaster RTE has a clear and blatant agenda to downplay war crimes and amplify US and British war mongers.
This is not impartial and it is not public service.

BCC has voted for and wants an Overdose Prevention Centre in Belfast to save lives.

Belfast city centre beside Primark. A couple of streets away a caring Belfast City Council employee is protecting a young woman from passing traffic as she lies in the street with her head in the wet gutter. He shows her kindness and love while waiting on help. To him thank you.

@drorfh I'm sorry, but after seeing Fontaines/Kneecap there last year I wouldn't be rushing back to see anyone there again. Horrible venue. Using it for community space is a much better, and much needed, use of the space.

I'm also old enough to remember being told we were lucky growing up with artists coming to Belfast because that just didn't happen here. 30 years later and BCC has just decided that's it no more.
