I have to say something about the plane crash last night in DC. I watched the news until about 2:00 a.m. That is not my norm when I have to speak the next morning but I was transfixed on hearing the updates here in Minneapolis. I fly over 150,000 miles per year. At takeoff, I'm in silent prayer. I never fly (during takeoff) without the thought of the possibility of something going wrong. Last night's crash obviously happened during the landing. I'm typically fine during the landing but the reality is, a crash happened last night during the landing and that may shift my flying reality. I keep wondering to myself what went on on that plane during impact. I feel for all of those passengers and crew. I was just in that airport last Thursday. My thoughts and prayers to all of the families and friends of the victims.
