@JamesSurowiecki There is nothing illegal about so-called hate groups. Being racist and racist speech is 100% protected speech. They don't get to set up as a nonprofit then run secret informer ops and park $1B in offshore accounts

The most dubious part of the claim that the SPLC committed "fraud" is the idea that it had to publicly disclose that it was secretly paying informants in order to gather information about hate groups. That would kind of defeat the purpose.
The Intercept@theintercept

Twenty donors to the Southern Poverty Law Center said the alleged “fraud” being prosecuted in their name was exactly how they hoped the group would spend their money. interc.pt/4sSFgKU

🚨Reminder: XChat claim of “end-to-end encrypted” chats is misleading at best. XChat uses the Juicebox protocol to secure the encryption keys with only a 4-digit code which cannot be brute forced. While that sounds absurd, the Juicebox protocol achieves this by splitting up the encryption key and distributing it to various independent “realms”, doing it in such a way that there isn’t a single realm that has the whole encryption key and can verify the 4-digit pin independently. The whole scheme falls apart if all the realms are controlled by a single entity, which is exactly how XChat does it. As you can see in the screenshot of the traffic produced by the new XChat app when creating a new 4-digit pin: all the realms are under the x[.]com domain with an SSL certificate that belongs to X. (The XChat app does not use certificate pinning, which allowed network traffic to be intercepted and decrypted) Since X operates all the realms, that means X can quite easily recover all the keys for any “end-to-end encrypted” chats in XChat

Roy Moore "dated" 14-year-old girls as a 30 something lawyer and was kicked out of a mall for being creepy. (Trump still endorsed him). An ad ran on those facts, he sued, and an Alabama jury awarded him an 8 million dollar verdict. Today, the 11th Circuit vacated it. /1

🚨ARRESTED🚨 A 27-year-old substitute teacher from Texas has been arrested after allegedly having an improper relationship with a student. School officials allegedly caught Angela Palmares having “inappropriate communication with students, specifically through a social media platform outside of the school day.” She was taken into custody without incident in Bell County and is being held on a $150,000 bond.

“Nazi maggot ICE agents should be terrified…and subsequently executed…with two f**king bullets to the back of their Nazi maggot heads!”   After receiving this threat, ICE launched an investigation and identified Daniel Barber as the person who sent these death threats. Barber was arrested on April 10, 2026. He has a lengthy criminal history, including a conviction for murder and robbery with intent to cause bodily harm in 1990.   ICE law enforcement officers are facing an 8,000% increase in death threats. The violence and dehumanization of these men and women who are simply enforcing the law must END.

🚨PAY ATTENTION🚨 U.S. intelligence agencies conducted 3.4 million warrantless searches of American identifiers in Section 702 databases IN 2021. This massive scale of surveillance that official reports confirm included queries on protesters, political donors, and individuals with no clear foreign intelligence connection, according to @MelKShow. After new rules were added post-2021, these queries plummeted to just thousands, raising questions about why such an expansive, warrantless approach was ever necessary and whether stronger guardrails are needed to protect Fourth Amendment rights.

It’s *wild* to see the FBI prosecuting and condemning the SPLC for using paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups, given that the existence of the FBI is based on this exact tactic.

I was a career corruption and civil rights prosecutor. The Trump Justice Department’s prosecution of the Southern Poverty Law Center, a storied non-profit devoted to combatting racism and white supremacy, is a sham. DOJ’s empty indictment accuses the SPLC--which paid to gather needed intelligence about the activities of extremists--of supporting the infamous 2017 Unite the Right white supremacist rally in Charlottesville. (Yes—the violent rally about which Donald Trump said there were “some very fine people on both sides”). The DOJ probably didn’t share with the grand jury the fact that the SPLC issued a newsletter in advance of the rally using its gathered intelligence—clear evidence that the SPLC was combatting the extremists, not helping them. When the court or the jury get the full picture, expect this case to fail. We have to take back Congress and hold this DOJ accountable. Join me at cooneyforcongress.com

What few people know is that Google gives certain 501(c)(3) organizations $120,000 per year in free advertising credit, so groups like SPLC can “buy” their way to the top of search results without ever spending a dime. If the SPLC used these grants while actively engaged in fraud, Google or the DOJ could seek restitution.
Jack Posobiec@JackPosobiec

This means every time @Google lists the SPLC at the top of their searches, they are promoting the funders of the KKK

Some little punks tried this when I went to speak at UVA Law FedSoc, but school security cooperated with me in shutting down disruption during Q&A. Conservative campus speakers must sadly now expect this nonsense, and prepare accordingly.
YitzyFrankel@YitZionist

Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

How @elonmusk fixed Starlink: “Starlink was a mess. It was 10X too expensive and they were building 1/10 of how many they needed. Elon’s like I've had it. This is now the bottleneck. I'm fixing this. He grabs a team of engineers that he trusts and they fly up to Seattle. They fire the entire Starlink leadership team. They sit down in a war room and they start running the algorithm. •What is the first principles of satellite design? •How simple can we make this thing? •Why does this exist? •Why are these two things so far apart? •Why do we need this much energy? •Why do we need this manufacturing process? And over the course of a few months they make a two order of magnitude leap. These people had never encountered this design before, but just by applying the algorithm and working with maniacal urgency towards this extremely high design bar, they created this product that's now —if it was a standalone business —would be worth tens of billions of dollars [or more].”

SPLC funded a large number of false flag “right wing” organizations and events. Total scam.
KanekoaTheGreat@KanekoaTheGreat

🚨BREAKING: DOJ charges the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) with wire fraud, false statements, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The SPLC secretly funneled $3M+ in donor funds to violent racist extremist groups: -Ku Klux Klan -American Nazi Party -Aryan Nation -United Klans of America -Unite the Right -National Alliance -National Socialist Movement -Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club -American Front To hide the payments, SPLC allegedly opened bank accounts under fictitious entities to conceal the source and control of donor funds. Per the indictment: an SPLC field source was a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville — made racist postings under SPLC supervision and helped coordinate transportation to the event. FBI Director Kash Patel: "They lied to their donors, vowing to dismantle violent extremist groups, and actually turned around and paid the leaders of these very extremist groups — even utilizing the funds to have these groups facilitate the commission of state and federal crimes." Acting AG Todd Blanche: "The SPLC is manufacturing racism to justify its existence. Using donor money to allegedly profit off Klansmen cannot go unchecked." Scheme allegedly ran 2014–2023. FBI calls it an ongoing investigation. Insane!!!

A full file system extraction of an iPhone 15 Pro revealed extensive user data, including emails, Discord activity, and multiple social media accounts with associated artifacts. Notably, the presence of a burner number application highlights a common misconception; devices still retain significant traces of usage despite attempts at anonymity. This demonstrates how modern smartphones continuously generate and store evidential data, making them highly valuable in digital investigations and reinforcing the importance of understanding mobile forensic exposure.
