His violent rhetoric is going to get people killed. In any other time in our nation’s history, Trump’s threats of violence against lawmakers would have been instant grounds for impeachment. It’s hard to fathom that congressional Republicans allow this to happen while telling Americans that elected Democrats are the ones who need to “tamp down the rhetoric” and “lower the temperature.”

The president is clearly unwell. As an American, I find it hard to believe that our president speaks in this way.
