You're basically admitting you're happy to be treated like crap just because PlayStation is a big company chasing money, there's no way Xbox would be given that same luxury Look at 2013, Xbox got absolutely hammered after that E3, and rightly so, the backlash forced real change and in the long run it improved the platform I've never seen anything even close to that level of scrutiny applied to PlayStation When Xbox closes a studio, the internet and media go into full meltdown mode, blaming Microsoft for everything, when PlayStation does it, silence, or at most quiet disappointment Just compare the reaction to Tango versus Bluepoint, Tango's closure sparked outrage, Bluepoint, arguably the more successful studio, was met with sympathy, not anger, that double standard is obvious And here's the thing, I've always loved PlayStation, I’ve owned every console and handheld they've released in the UK, plus a several imports, but this generation it's been a mess •cancelled 12 live service games •another CEO change •barely any meaningful releases over the past 2 to 3 years •no clear roadmap for 2026 and beyond, aside from another Marvel Insomniac title and SAROS, which is basically another Returnal •Concord, one of the biggest failures in modern gaming •a 3.6 billion Bungie deal with nothing to show for it except more disappointment and controversy. Stealing a Scottish guy's artwork... •more Xbox games appearing on PlayStation than PlayStation games •a mid gen refresh that underdelivers, with PSSR taking years to sort out •endless remasters instead of new IP •a struggling VR system •studio closures and thousands of layoffs •hardware price hikes, twice •paid third party exclusivity deals keeping games off Xbox •higher software prices •PS Plus getting more expensive while offering less At some point blind loyalty just becomes enabling I've stepped back from supporting it until they sort themselves out, and anyone who isn't driven by fanboyism should be doing the same, that's the only thing that forces real change, not blind loyalty.

🚨Update After the recent Bluepoint Games studio shutdown piece that I investigated and put out to the public, I have been officially removed as a “Playstation creator.” As I said before, I have enjoyed early review codes, hardware sent to me, and other access for almost 3 years. After reaching out to request a review code this week, I was informed by someone of this change. And, I REGRET NOTHING. I put out the truth given to me by people who lost their jobs, and they trusted me to share their experiences that were corroborated by Bloomberg report. I love Playstation as a platform, and I will continue to play on and support the brand. I knew this was a possibility when I did this report, and I fully accept it. Just wanted to share the update, and that I will continue to do my best to deliver daily gaming news and updates to you!
