@ValayParikhMD @aalahmadmd @JReinerMD @VAhealthyhearts Device was implanted 8 weeks earlier. Didn't check PA pressures (even though we used a Swann - - oops). Utilized TEE when the device was stuck to help figure out if we were doing an inadvertent RV biopsy. Only mild TR after it was successfully explanted. Got lucky!

@e_soh @aalahmadmd @JReinerMD @VAhealthyhearts As a general fellow I was in a case where we had to fish a lot to get it out of the PA. The PRF was not easily accessible as the device flipped and was oriented distally. onlinejacc.org/content/73/9_S…

@MatthewCertain @JReinerMD @VAhealthyhearts I have no evidence to back this up, but it didn't seem like a good idea to us. On angiography, it was lodged at a bifurcation and occlusive of at least one segmental branch.
