And if your communication was reliant on cellular service, your data (ie business) is entirely dependent on them. They could raise rates and limit your data, thus completely crippling your entire business. By using starlink, Tesla controls the data and connection from the moment it leaves the car.

This is a big deal and arguably could be a hardware requirement going forward. Connectivity has never been "required" for a Tesla to operate safely on FSD but there are times and places that one bar of LTE just isn't enough to get traffic updates for dynamic reroutes. If future capabilities include fleet wide distribution of dynamic street information, potholes, closed roads, and accidents .. Starlink could be the solution to an always on stable connection when you have a clear view of the sky.

FSD v14 Lite (for Tesla AI3 hardware vehicles) review. This is the version that’s likely going to wide release.
Zack@BLKMDL3

A few drives and over 100 miles in with the new FSD v14 lite update and here are my thoughts: V14 lite was already quite good and this update brought some HUGE UI improvements which makes it feel so much better. Tesla has added a great Start Self Driving from park change where you now don’t have to confirm by pressing the brake pedal to start FSD from park. Seems like a minor change but it’s a huge quality of life improvement. Tesla has also added the same parking options tab as AI4 cars, when approaching your destination it pulls up the tab to show you your parking options at destination. It shows the blue P and you can press it mid drive as well. Something else to note is Curbside has now been changed to Pull Over just like AI4 FSD v14.3. The Self Driving App has been added in this update just like AI4 cars, it tracks your overall percentage of FSD usage. Doing the math on my current usage/odometer it seems like the tracking started when I installed 2026.8.6. The Self Driving app shows you instructions on how to use FSD too as well as monthly stats. This new update has also brought streaks! Just like AI4 cars it tracks your continuous streak of FSD usage. It also shows you how many days in a row you have used FSD. Got a 100 mile streak tonight and it showed confetti just like AI4. Highway performance is SO good still. Keeps a consistent speed with no unnecessary lane changes and I saw zero left lane camping tonight. It handles high speed curves so perfectly and doesn’t ping pong and it feels so dialed in. Dare I say almost as good as AI4, almost all the way there- just wish it would accelerate stronger in hurry onto the highway when merging from the on ramp. Great lane choices and passing decisions. No traffic so it sat at 2mph slower than it used to when no cars around in standard and hurry but if a quicker car would come by it would speed up a bit. DMS might also be slightly more sensitive but it was dark out, will confirm with some more driving later today. City streets: this update is similar than before but seems to be slightly more confident around city streets. Hurry was a bit quicker than before but I wish it would accelerate slightly stronger in hurry profile only. Really good yellow light performance on the three I encountered and had smooth braking and no overreactions. I did however see the weird turn signal bug for the second time ever tonight at a traffic light so this is still present with this update as well as the slight steering wheel wobble at around 40mph and still way improved over v12.6.4. They definitely improved the way it leaves stop signs and lights though, slightly more linear and smooth acceleration from a stop. Obeyed both no right on red signs I encountered too. Dips and speed bump speed is perfect as it was before too. Most importantly, FSD v14 lite feels so much safer than v12.6.4. Parking might be slightly improved in this build where it took a better approach angle like I mentioned it needs to in the previous build reviews. It still doesn’t straighten out wheel at the end which I would like to see changed. It also still “double stops” when almost done with a parking job backing up to a supercharger space. Speed might be a tad quicker than the last build as well but will get some more parking in later today to confirm my findings. Overall, this update (2026.20.6.10) brought some massive UI changes, quality of life improvements, and really made this update feel like v14 even more. Absolutely incredible what they’ve accomplished with v14 lite on HW3 cars. Feels like I got a new car. Thanks @Tesla_AI and UI teams for all the hard work getting this out and I really hope it rolls wide soon!

I will donate $500 to a charity of your choice if you prove you ran a 5k in under 15 minutes on a treadmill at a doctor’s office. If you can’t find proof, I will go double or nothing and donate $1,000 if you do it live in person not on a treadmill. My choice is Be The Match.
FourPlex Guy Carlos Gonzalez@dig_deeper1

When I went to the cardiologist to do some heart tests the doctor made me run on a treadmill at full speed for 15 minutes at the max speed, I think it was like 13 or 15 mph. I felt like my heart was in my head and couldn’t even talk for like a minute or two and this guy is yelling and screaming out of excitement

@BobbyWilson1004 Good luck. Your best bet is to try to ask your local delivery guy/gal for a number to actual humans. Or, to drive to your local distribution center one morning when they’re loading the trucks. $20 and a smile goes a long way.

Update: After trying unsuccessfully to obtain some information online & escalate my issue, I decided to spend about 30 minutes trying to actually speak with a human. This afternoon I was finally able to speak with a lady that was located in the Philippines. Of course she wasn’t helpful at all and after about 10 minutes, she transferred me to her supervisor. She was nice but wasn’t able to do anything but provide me with support ticket C-249678188. She told me the package had been enroute to Athens from Kennesaw for a couple of days now. I explained it was less than a two hour drive & she was still convinced it was on a truck on its way. FedEx is so terrible now it’s shameful. @FedEx_Online24h @FedEx @FedExHelp

Hello @FedExHelp @FedEx I have a package with 6 bottles of wine shipped from California that has been at your Kennesaw hub since last Thursday at 4:08am. Could any living human possibly contact me about this package that is apparently lost now please.

@grok @GAFollowers @Ria_Martin So you’re saying that if there were solar canopies over just roughly 30% of the parking lot, it would handle the energy requirements for every game (depending on batteries and sun)?

@GAFollowers @Ria_Martin Hey @grok how big of solar array would it take to handle this? Give me the answer relative to the size of the parking lot around the stadium.

It’s probably not surprising that someone who has a single, solitary type A lesion (low Syntax score) which gets stented has an inherently different risk than a patient who gets a full metal jacket in the rca, a stent in the circumflex, and diffuse but non-obstructive disease in the LAD, and therefore the multivessel patient benefits from DAPT longer.

@MatthewCertain @EricLDaugh **MatthewCertain** No Senate vote scheduled yet. The House passed the Sunshine Protection Act (H.R. 139) yesterday 308-117. It now heads to the Senate, where a companion bill (S.29) has been in committee. Leadership timing unclear amid some opposition. I'll track updates! ☀️

Right, and they shouldn’t have to buy an entire new car. They paid up to $15k to get FSD as promised. Some have waited 6+ years at this point; if they’ve waited this long, they can hold out a bit longer. And the crazy thing is that once you have FSD, the car no longer matters. In the same way you don’t care what kind of car your Uber driver is in, you don’t care that you’re in a 6 year old model 3; it’s driving you around and you’re watching YouTube on your phone.

At some point @Tesla not allowing FSD transfers will be a drag on sales as owners who will want a new model or newer Tesla will not follow through on a new purchase as they won’t want to give up FSD they paid for already to then become a subscriber. As MYL rolls out I wonder how many MY owners would upgrade but don’t because of this reason. Saw @DennisCW_ decide not to do get MYL for this very reason.

@ntwork Just because you can carry operations “well into next year,” doesn’t mean you’re not about to file for bankruptcy.

$LCID The rumors are completely false. The company has sufficient liquidity to carry its operations well into next year, as recently published in its last quarterly filings, and it has not formed any special Board committee to explore the scenarios reported today.  Our focus is on improving execution, strengthening operations, and positioning Lucid to realize the full potential of its technology, products, and innovation. AlixPartners is assisting us in that and nothing else and has not recommended bankruptcy to management or the Board. We undertake no duty to update our comments on this matter.
