1900 ewes dagged ready for the shearers next week. $7.30/head to shear, cover the wool pack,and freight to town per ewe. Looking like $6.30/head in wool income. Factor in $2.80 to belly crutch in may,and one crutching by myself per year,& dipping,we're losing $4.70/head on wool.

Myself and Robyn have managed a couple of big runs in northern Australia. Bred, trucked & sold hundreds of thousands of cattle fora few companies. We now own & manage 80 acres of country & sold steers at Warwick last Tuesday. $3030.00 per head. We owned them. Just a great feeling
