Platforms hosting lawful content must be shielded from government pressure to censor. We would require transparency in content moderation and prohibit state-directed takedowns of legal speech. The Online Safety Act law threatens the integrity of investigative journalism, whistleblowing, and political debate. Fears of liability lead to over-moderation, driving smaller players out of the market and empowering Big Tech. A Restore Britain government would therefore repeal the Online Safety Act - any Labour VPN ban would also be immediately reversed. We would restore free speech.

English countryside would be bulldozed for 'dystopian concrete sprawl' under new green plans gbnews.com/news/planning-…

Vote Green on May the 7th! ✅ Local services that work for YOU ✅ Green policies that put people and the planet before profit ✅ Politics of Hope and Unity ✅ Housing and infrastructure that meets the needs of the community, not landlord profits Promoted by Robert May & The Isle of Wight Green Party - 28a Victoria Road, Shanklin, Isle of Wight PO36 8AL

Asylum handouts and accommodation will be removed for illegal migrants who abuse Britain’s generosity.

If we are to halt & reverse decline of the Curlew then difficult subjects must be tackled, including the high density of predators we have across the country - including foxes, crows & badgers. All wonderful creatures as well, but too many is a big issue for ground nesting birds.

Experts are saying it: SUVs damage our roads more than ordinary passenger cars. I’ve asked @TfL to look into the effect of supersized SUVs in London as more of these vehicles take up space on London’s roads. theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/a…

Dreadful proposal for new city over 45,000 acres near Cambs Reform are against this terrible idea digitaleditions.telegraph.co.uk/data/2398/read…

Sir Tim Smit, Eden Project co-founder, has proposed a £100bn “Forest City” eco-project in East Anglia. The plan would turn 45,000 acres of Suffolk-Cambridgeshire farmland into 400,000 new homes, plus England’s biggest nature reserve, 12,000 acres of forests/wetlands and a huge new reservoir. It includes rewilding with beavers, storks, lynxes and wild boar alongside offices and shops. Smit calls it a “creative spark” and “roadmap for a beautiful future” to tackle housing and inertia. The radical proposal is now with Labour’s Housing Secretary for review. Thoughts?
