It is utterly despicable to block a hospital from buying fuel. It is worse to do that and then try to pretend Hasan Piker (or me and Jeremy Corbyn, apparently) is somehow responsible for the precise policy Trump is implementing and Fox News and Bari Weiss are cheering. Am I the only one who sells my used cars for like $500 anymore? I swear, when I unloaded my kid’s starter cars, I’d just be like, “I don’t know, you got $500 cash?” I mean, I get that sometimes every dollar matters for some. But I’m always just thinking, “if it gets you to work for a few months or more, you can basically have it.” But I see the same kind of cars on lawns for like $1,500-$2,000. It’s nuts. Be generous. Minimum wage was $5 then. Rent was $700, but we split it 3 ways with roommates. We didn’t have food delivery subscriptions because we knew how to shop and cook. We didn’t have internet and 6 streaming services, because we had patience and VHS. We didn’t waste a shit ton on overpriced coffee. Millennials and younger waste so much money on convenience and expedience fees that they can’t afford the important stuff, like a place to live.

As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.
