@TafferKing451 This sort of hooked into some unused dark engine stuff, but it was previously just texture swaps. This time several facial shapes were made and audio files were run through files to generate poses for the audio!

The new facial animations/lip syncing in System Shock 2 Anniversary Edition looks great here. If I hadn't been so familiar with the base game, you'd think it had always looked like this, but it's a detail that goes a long way for little moments like this.

@AndrewF02485882 @NightdiveStudio @SVKaiser There's a new cinematic tool, open console and type set debug_view_enabled 1 to enable debug interface, there should be a cutscene section there with some prebuilt things. Inside the shock2ee.kpf mod theres sq_scripts/defines/defines_cutscenes.nuy that has those set up.

The SS2 remaster fills me with anxiety lol They say it can bootstrap NewDark features and more, but I'm concerned my spaghetti wiring of gameplay and overlay scripts will break when it's ported over

I have slain God and Lord! For me, it took about ~60 attempts. I really enjoyed dancing around with the lad in Phase 1, but Phase 2 felt a bit too random for me. Got a mediocre pattern on my kill. NG+1 15 Scadutree Blessings RL 180 Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword
