I'm a believer that devs should own the software they write end-to-end, including the operations. Automate as much as possible, document the rest, and have useful telemetry and alerts when things go awry. Do your postmortems/retrospectives, and hold accountability. 4/4 ;-)

@sumitngupta Also that many others are having similar experiences, and that I'm being punished for taking the ethical approach. I could buy another unit and return the old defective one in its place claiming the new one was DoA. Other's have done this. But I'm staying honest.

@sumitngupta Absolutely, DO NOT BUY! They went from a 5-year warranty to nine with only a standard IKEA return policy only abruptly and silently. Google it and you can see it all over Reddit.
