Nigerians need leaders that they can talk to, engage, share ideas with. How many of your lawmakers, House of Assembly members, Senators, LG Chairmen do you speak to or lay a complaint to that will actually listen & respond. We need to elect accessible leaders. Empathetic leaders. In the UK, you can write to your local councilman about your concerns and he/she will respond back to fix the issue, he/she will even visit your house if need be. How many of our elected Politicians can do this in Nigeria without coming to share rice. We need to deeply think about this.

Most people think coaching is for when something is wrong. It's actually most powerful when everything is fine and you're ready to go further.

The first problem is that the President of Nigeria should not be nominating the INEC chairman. The Justice Uwais report of 2008 set up by President Yaradua recommended that the power of appointing an INEC chairman must be taken away from the President. But alas! Yaradua died. See it this way, it is like playing a match and I go and call my very close guy to be the referee in a match that I must win. You know how the outcome will be.

I’m saying there are active democracies that don’t even practice what is in their constitution. Example is Nigeria. And Benin practically reengineered the constitution to kick the opposition out, in a democracy, just to consolidate power. So my point is, why always crying out optics when there are no real democracies in Africa? What we have are just election ceremonies recycling old corrupt politicians that don’t care about the people they rule over. So if democracy is “government of the people, by the people and for the people,” do you think that is what is obtainable here, right now? If the countries want to try something else, different from the western system of government that has been rigged against them, should they seek permission from the west?

I think Ben Kalu trusts the APC rigging machine so much that he wants to cash in on it. Otti is the most popular Politician in SE. The machine will fail Kalu.

Leadership Without Compassion is Not Leadership During his visit to Benue State in June 2025, Bola Ahmed Tinubu stopped at the Government House but did not go to the actual scene where innocent Nigerians lost their lives. Similarly, yesterday in Jos, his engagement ended at the airport instead of at the affected communities. What happened in Plateau yesterday highlights a complete absence of leadership. True leadership requires presence, empathy, compassion, and a willingness to meet people where their pain truly lies. For citizens who have just lost loved ones, homes, and their sense of safety, being addressed from an airport tarmac is profoundly inadequate. This approach exacerbates the sense of abandonment already felt by innocent Nigerians who have endured repeated cycles of violence without meaningful protection or justice. Plateau deserves more than distant words; it requires urgent action and a clear commitment to ending the insecurity that continues to claim innocent lives. In such moments, leadership must not only be visible but also tangible—standing with victims, listening to survivors, and acknowledging the depth of their grief. If we truly desire a better Nigeria, we must demand leadership that is present, responsive, and responsible at all times. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

On this Good Friday, I join Christian faithful across Nigeria and beyond in solemn reflection on the ultimate sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. His selfless love, humility, and unwavering obedience to the will of God remain timeless virtues that inspire us all. As we commemorate His passion and death, let us be reminded of the boundless grace that flows from His sacrifice, a grace that calls us to live with compassion, forgiveness, and unity. May this sacred day renew our faith, strengthen our bonds as one people, and guide us towards a future built on love and peace. I wish all Christians a blessed Good Friday.

Tinubu is taking high-risk financial bets just to run basic governance. To “get” the $5 billion upfront, we are pledging 133.3% collateral. He is mortgaging the country. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

ADC: What's to be done 1. Apply for the accelerated hearing of Nafiu Bala's suit at the High Court. Push for the conclusion of the suit within 2 weeks; 2. It's a suit about the defence of the independence of political parties and democracy, so mobilise lawyers

My name is Mrs princess Nnochiri Adebayo , and I am speaking for my blood brother, Ifeanyi Francis Nnochiri who was shot by unknown gun men in Kekere Ajah Lagos on 23/3/2026. My brother was not a criminal. He was not a cultist. He was a fighter. He was the only son ! He battled schizophrenia, and he did not let it define him. He was properly managed, monitored, and on his medication. There were no signs of relapse. He was doing well. He was living his life. On that day, he was simply on his way back from church. His life was snatched away in the blink of an eye. Allegedly it was said that police shot him and mistakenly thinking he is part of cultist involved in a cult war that day in that area ,Now, we are being told a different story by the police that he was killed by a cult gang counting scores on the area . But where is the investigation? Where is the proof? Why has no one been arrested? How can a life be taken, and no one is held accountable? My brother fought so hard to stay alive, to be better, to keep going… only for his life to be taken unjustly. He was shot holding his bible in his hand This is not just painful—it is devastating. We are demanding: - A proper and transparent investigation - Accountability for those responsible - Justice for Ifeanyi Francis Nnochiri Please help us speak up. Please help us demand justice. Do not let his story be silenced. What is happening in Nigeria??? God help me and my family heal from this pain #JusticeForIfeanyi #insecurityinnigeria #EndPoliceBrutality © Princess Nnochiri

I saw a video from the Aba content creators conference where a guy dropped his food on his seat and went out and a lady carried his food, put it on the ground and sat on his seat. The guy returned and asked the lady to leave his seat but she refused. Nobody said anything and the few who did were telling him sorry so that he would leave the seat. It was when he pushed the lady away that they bundled him out of the conference. What annoyed me wasn’t just how everything switched and how the girl made herself look pitiful. It was because it was fellow men who walked this guy out. They kept quiet when the fracas was happening and only swung into action after he pushed her away from his seat. Why the double standard? Shalom!
