@OldJobobo Beautiful! I never get to see it thow because my apps will always use every pixel on screen. Especially with tiling window managers like Hyprland on Omarchy I do not understand all the focus on backgrounds.

Image color extraction & theme generation is coming to the Aether CLI.
This will simplify the Omarchy theming for you if you don't need to adjust the extracted colors.

@dhh I moved the screensaver to scratch so I could reduce its opacy and see my desktop through the screensaver.. this is how I discovered the screensaver spikes my CPU pretty significantly.

@iamdothash Thanks! I liked the wallpapers from a few days ir weeks ago where someone (you?) had these AI generated images with less and less foreground layers. Almost like stepping into a painting. I think I might enjoy that to have the feeling that each workspace is part of one thing.

I am not sure about anything that exists, but I've gotten feedback from multiple people about adding this to Aether.
It might be part of it, but, until then, you can create a cron job running code with inspiration from this script: github.com/basecamp/omarc…
Basically, use swaybg to set your wallpaper on the interval that works for you.

In the next version of Aether, you can add multiple wallpapers for your theme.
This version includes a lot of bugfixes, refactoring, and improvements not visible to the product.
