According to a new national poll, young Canadians are more likely than the rest of the population to believe that the Holocaust was exaggerated, and these skeptics are more likely to hold a negative view of Jews and a favourable view of Hamas. There can be no doubt that teaching the history of the Holocaust can affect how young Canadians think about the present. This is why we are working diligently with Holocaust educators and Ministers of Education across the country.
