If you are a Messianic Jew and I’m not yet following you, will you please respond to this with a comment or DM, because I want to follow you.
(You don’t necessarily have to follow back)
@trent1166@rabbriansamuel The revelations were given to God's chosen people, the Jews, who wrote every book of Scripture that we have today with the possible exception of Luke and Acts cut some say he may have been a convert to Judaism.
There were several names given to the original followers of Messiah Yeshua.
👉The Way
👉Nazarenes
👉Christians
Whatever the name, they were considered a "sect", meaning a movement within Judaism.
Acts 24:14:
But I confess this to you, that in accordance with the Way, which they call a sect, I do serve the God of our fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and is written in the Prophets.
The Greek word for "sect" is the same used to describe other Jewish groups, including the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Plan to learn the biblical covenants:
1. A yearly reading plan. A more aggressive plan moves things faster
2. Write down every passage you come across. EVERY SINGLE ONE!
3. Go back and study them.
4. Repeat process year after year
6 years later I'm still doing this.
Just because a group identifies itself as "Torah observant" doesn't mean that it is really part of the Messianic movement. Some of the groups today are just absolutely dangerous and need to be avoided. Here are a few things to watch out for:
1. Use of Yahusha, Yahuah. These groups are most always loco.
2. Overuse of the "Yah". Another type of Hebrew Roots or Sacred Name group.
3. Constant use of the actual Sacred Name. Sometimes these groups mean well, other times they are cultic. At any rate, they treat God's Name as a common thing.
4. Those who value commandments over people. Groups should hold to the principle of pikuach nefesh. This means that a life is more important than any commandment. Groups who cannot see this should be avoided.
Comment PESACH and we’ll send you the link! For Sephardic communities, the tefillot of Pesach carry generations of tradition, melody, and minhag. The Sephardic Machzor for Shalosh Regalim brings the beauty of Sephardic tefillah for Pesach into one clear, beautifully arranged
I’ve been seeing more and more people sharing their 100% Biblical Christian Zionist faith and their beautiful Cross and Star of David necklaces.
I’m absolutely loving it ✝️🥰✡️
FACT: If it wasn’t for the “Judeo,” there wouldn’t be the “Christian.”
United Forever! 🇺🇸♾️🇮🇱
The New Firefly animated show writer Marc Guggenheim hates you:
"If you voted for Trump... there’s nothing I can do for you... I marched against Vietnam... protested Bush I and Bush II, marched against Trump 1.0 and 2.0 and will only stop marching and protesting when the legs give out."
Given this is 2026 and Disney, I'm really trying not to get my hopes up for the Firefly reunion, but I can't help but be a little excited.
Do you feel the same way? What do you think they'll announce?
For some reason our new book is even cheaper today on Amazon.com! a.co/d/0hzJgfmT No idea why, but $17 for a 280-page full color 8.5/11 in book is a nice deal! Once again, all the contents can be viewed and downloaded freely at freehebrew.online/resources
