In the Shrek trailer THIS was the design that I feel is the most reflective of modern character design. Larger head to make him more cute and a more angular rounded head to show he's not as clean cut.

I really hope that Shrek 5 does enough to differentiate Further Further Away from Far Far Away. One of my big issues with the franchise post 2 is that it never really moves on from and expands much past Far Far Away. I hope Further Further Away has its own identity!
