"Toxic positivity" can hurt stroke survivors more than it helps. Phrases like "Just stay positive!" may dismiss genuine struggles and discourage open conversations. Instead, offer empathy: Acknowledge feelings, listen, and ask how to help. All emotions are valid in recovery. 💙
